Atlas Fire & Security Ltd are NACOSS Gold and BAFE SP203 certificated to provide expert installation of fire alarm systems. Companies and firms who provide a fire alarm installation service have to be able to demonstrate that they are 'Competent'. The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 came into force in October 2006. This legislation places a mandatory duty of care on the person responsible for the running of a business, Office or School premises to ensure that the fire alarm maintenance is carried out by a competent person or company. NACOSS Gold and BAFE offers the facility to immediately demonstrate the competence necessary to maintain and verify fire alarm systems.
We have BFPSA/FIA certificated technicians directly employed by us to ensure that your fire alarm maintenance is carried in accordance with BS5839 part 1. Verification is carried out by the maintenance technician to ensure that the customer is notified of any changes of use or alterations to the building that would effect the fire alarm installation.
Maintenance Contracts
We provide standard or all inclusive parts and labour maintenance contracts with a 24hour repair response facility for new or existing fire alarm systems to ensure that you fire alarm is maintained in accordance with BS5839 Part 1 and BS 5839 Part 6. Maintenance costs can be paid monthly by direct debit.
Remote Signaled Systems
From April 2008 all new remotely monitored fire alarm systems must be designed, installed,commissioned and maintained by certificated BAFE SP203 or LPC 1014 companies. We can provide maintenance on existing remotely monitored systems to ensure that customers continue to receive a response from the fire and rescue service. |
